KAA Presents JKIA Integrated Master Plan to Key Stakeholders
Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has presented the JKIA Integrated Master Plan to a gathering of government officials, airline representatives, and aviation industry stakeholders in Nairobi.
The Master Plan sets out a phased, 20-year roadmap for expanding terminal capacity, modernizing cargo infrastructure, and increasing runway resilience to meet forecast passenger and freight growth.
Key elements include a new integrated terminal building, expansion of cargo warehousing and cold-chain facilities, and upgrades to airside taxiway and apron infrastructure to reduce congestion during peak hours.
Stakeholders welcomed the plan as a critical step toward securing JKIA's position as East Africa's leading aviation and cargo hub over the coming decades.
