KAA Participates in 3rd National Aviation Safety Summit 2026
Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) is taking part in the 3rd National Aviation Safety Summit 2026, held in Nairobi and bringing together regulators, airline operators, ground handlers, and industry leaders from across the region.
The summit focuses on strengthening safety management systems, runway incursion prevention, and coordinated emergency response across Kenya's airport network, building on KAA's ISAGO certification and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
KAA's delegation presented updates on ongoing safety investments at JKIA and regional airports, including apron lighting upgrades, wildlife hazard management, and enhanced runway inspection protocols.
"Safety is not negotiable — it is the foundation everything else at KAA is built on," said a KAA safety and security representative addressing summit delegates.
